I never expected our two year stint in Guam to be so… transforming. After all, my husband said it was blasted hot, and most of the Navy wives I knew hated it there. I believe our experiences are what we make of them, and I knew that if I wanted to be miserable, I would be. I chose, instead, to take a different road.
